About Jack
am a first-year student at Keele University, I'm studying Law and I absolutely love it.
I did not always love my academic studies, whilst I was younger I was disinterested by essay subjects, as a result of this I achieved poor academic performance. However, this changed when I was introduced to my GCSE English teacher, he managed to teach in such a way that complemented by learning style and as a result of this, I achieved a grade 9 in English Literature, in the first year that the GCSE was sat. Not only this, but I saw a massive increase in my academic performance as a whole, with I getting 11 GCSES 9-C, with 7 of those being grade A or higher. However, not every child is lucky enough to have a teacher that can communicate subject information in a clear and interesting manner. This is why I place a special focus within my lessons to tailor them to your child's needs.

My lessons will follow a methodical structure. On the first meeting with your child, I shall find out what aspect of the subject your child is struggling with. Second, I will go away and create a clear lesson plan to improve upon the subject that your child is struggling with. Third, I would work through some tailored examples of how to fix the issue with your child's work. For instance, if your child struggled with writing a conclusion, I would give an example of a conclusion and work through why each element is important. Fourthly, I would set homework for the child to independently apply the skill we have done within the lesson. Finally, I would go through your child's answer with them with points to improve. This process would continue until my student has mastered the skill they once struggled with.
