About Bee
I graduated with my bachelor's in English in 2019 and then got right to work on my master's in English, which I received in 2023. I first began working as a tutor at my university's writing center in 2018 and immediately fell in love with tutoring English and writing. Over the years and during my time in graduate school, I polished my skills and began working as a freelance copy editor and proofreader, which strengthened my tutoring skills even more. The English language is a complicated beast, so I strive to dedicate my expertise in the English language and education to the benefit of others!

My approach to tutoring is to provide as personalized lessons as possible, focusing on both the student's weaknesses as well as their strengths. In order to get a student to care about what they're learning, I try to find a way to incorporate the student's interests and passions while still focusing on the fundamentals and mechanics.
While most of my tutoring experience has been with high school and college students, I do have a background in tutoring/teaching middle school students as well.
