About Carly
I’m an experienced chess tutor with more than 9 years of teaching and coaching experience. My goal is to help students develop strong problem-solving skills through the strategic depth of chess. I regularly guide learners through chess workshops and competitive training sessions.
My teaching emphasizes logical reasoning and careful position analysis. Students learn to recognize patterns, evaluate threats, and calculate moves clearly.
Tactical training plays an important role in my lessons. Puzzle solving, attack patterns, and defensive techniques help students sharpen their decision-making.

My chess teaching approach is organized and focused on helping learners think logically during games. I begin by teaching the key foundations of chess such as piece coordination, development, and controlling important squares. Students also learn tactical ideas like forks, pins, skewers, and discovered attacks. These concepts help improve quick decision-making on the board.
I introduce visualization drills and calculation exercises to strengthen accuracy. Players practice evaluating positions and identifying the best plans. I also guide learners on managing their time during games to avoid rushed decisions. Puzzle solving and mini challenges help sharpen pattern recognition.
My teaching style is systematic and easy to follow. I offer regular feedback so learners can clearly understand their progress. Together we focus on building stronger analysis and confidence in gameplay. Step by step, players improve their calculation speed and strategic thinking.
