About Ira
I am a Chemistry tutor with a MSc in Radiochemistry and over 3 years of teaching experience. I enjoy helping students understand chemistry through practical and relatable examples. Food chemistry and nutrition are key areas in my teaching.
Students explore macromolecules like proteins, carbohydrates, and lipids. We also study food additives and how metabolic reactions convert food into energy.
I incorporate activities like dietary analysis and discussions about food product development. Lessons also examine chemical reactions that occur during cooking processes.
