About Laura
I currently teach high school biology. I have a degree in biology and psychology from the University of Michigan. I also have ESL and Montessori training. My passion is explaining complex concepts and helping students realize their potential, especially in STEM.

I like to teach by experiential methods, not just memorization. The more the student can be active in learning, the better. I have taught or tutored kindergarten through 100-level college courses. The struggling, defeated, and/or overwhelmed student is with whom I do my best work.
