About Salma
Ahlan I’m Salma, a passionate Arabic teacher from Cairo, Egypt with an MA degree and a 5+ years of experience in teaching Arabic in US universities. I currently live in the US where I’m teaching Arabic. I 'm specialized in teaching Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) as well as the Egyptian Colloquial Arabic. I also have knowledge of other Arabic dialects spoken in the region.

I aim to make Arabic learning as engaging and immersive as possible. I believe in the importance of tailoring my approach to meet the individual needs and learning styles of each student. I employ a variety of techniques, including communicative activities, interactive exercises, and multimedia resources.
Typically my lessons are structured, starting with a warm-up activity and introducing new concepts like vocabulary or grammar. I incorporate practice exercises, listening and speaking activities, and cultural exploration to provide a well-rounded understanding of the Arabic language and culture.
My passion for Arabic language and culture, combined with extensive teaching experience will ensure a successful learning experience. I provide personalized attention and create a supportive environment for student success.
My lessons cater to all levels and backgrounds. I have experience with degree-seeking students, as well as those learning Arabic for professional, travel, or personal enrichment purposes.
