About Alabi
My name is Alabi Asipita, and I’m an English teacher.
I didn’t fall in love with English because of grammar rules. I fell in love with it because of the power it holds. I have seen a situation where the power of one well-written letter changed the entire story of a certain family just the same way a poorly constructed and wrong speech can mar a nation.
I am therefore determined to teach English because I believe every student has a voice that the world needs to hear, but many of them are yet to discover this. Hence, my coming to help you find yours.
There will be no boring lessons in my class, as we’ll debate, write stories, analyze books, and practice speaking like leaders.
By the time you leave my class, you won’t just know English. You will think better, speak better, and write better.
My aim is not just to teach English, it's rather to equip the future leaders with the right thinking, speaking, writing, and analytical skills, with which they can build their future.

English as a subject is very simple. Though most students see it as a complex one. Whichever impression a student forms of it today depends largely on the approach used by the tutor.
It is guided by rules and once the tutor is able to expose the learner to those rules, it makes its learning easier and more fascinating.
In my class, you won't just be learning the normal reading, speaking, and writing. Instead, you would be exposed to many engaging lessons that would further equip you to;
a. develop critical thinking skills,
b. communicate effectively and confidently
c. develop and tell outstanding stories
d. build your future with words.
e. face external exams with confidence and perform excellently well in them.
