About Charlotte
Maths has been an instrumental part of my life ever since I can remember - and I have always had a passion for everything STEM.
I love tutoring because I get to share this interest with my students, as well as watch them grow and become more confident in what they’re studying.
I have been a maths tutor for over a year now, including teaching primary and secondary level students, and also have experience in tutoring visually impaired students.

I firmly believe that tutoring should be an informal, relaxed experience. My sessions will focus on going over and reinforcing topics taught in school and, where appropriate, giving students opportunities to expand on what they have learnt with extra mathematical puzzles and challenges.
My primary goal as a tutor is always to be supportive and encouraging, ensuring that my students feel comfortable to share their thoughts and are never afraid to make mistakes.
Session durations are flexible, but I would recommend 30 minutes to an hour for optimum effectiveness. Being at early A-level standard myself, my target students are primary to pre-GCSE students - although I would be happy to tutor GCSE students too.
