About Daniel
Hello, My name is Daniel, I am a Highly professional Ba (Hons) Popular Music Production Graduate, with a passion for music production, live sound and teaching. Along with my Degree I hold a Grade 8 (Distinction) certificate for Drum Kit, an A* A-level in Music Technology, and an A* in GCSE Music and Maths. I am well versed on all Microsoft packages as well as a selection of creative programs, including Pro Tools (user certified), Logic Pro x, iMovie and Final Cut.
Music Teaching
- I have worked with primary aged children running samba drumming and steel band workshops on both a one off session and term long weekly session basis inside and outside of school.
- I have attended music festivals with students from a secondary school performing with a steel band including main stage appearances at Boardmasters and Tropical Pressure in Cornwall as well as several performances at Camp Bestival in Dorset.
- I am comfortable working with smaller groups of children to refine specific skills as well as leading large groups to improve ensemble playing, I am keen at working on the finer skills such as timing and Rhythm which both greatly influence playing and production.
- My degree and work experience has provided me with a strong knowledge and understanding of structure and the sound stage which allows me to confidently teach more in depth about musicality and playing techniques to improve a final piece of work.
