About Shiva

Hi! I’m a student of English Honors who has always been deeply curious about how stories — whether from literature or history — shape the world we live in. Back in school, History was one of my favorite subjects because it never felt like mugging up facts; to me, it was like connecting dots in a grand story about people, power, and change. I decided to start teaching because I know how difficult it can feel when a subject seems overwhelming or boring. I’ve been there and I know that sometimes, all it takes is a teacher who explains things simply, patiently, and in a way that actually makes sense. Through my classes, I want to help students not just score well, but also enjoy learning — to see History not as a pile of dates, but as a living, breathing story of humanity. My goal is to make each session interactive, clear, and relatable — something you’ll look forward to, not dread.

About the lesson

Hi! I teach History in a way that’s different from traditional rote learning.
Instead of memorizing dates and facts, I focus on helping you understand the story behind every event — why it happened, what it changed, and how it connects to today’s world.

I prepare each topic using easy explanations, flow-based notes, and quick summaries that make even the toughest chapters feel simple. You’ll also get discussion-based sessions and short Q&A rounds after every topic to strengthen your memory and confidence.

Whether you’re aiming to score better marks or simply want to finally enjoy studying History, my sessions will help you see how interesting and logical the subject really is.

I think Shiva would be a great teacher as I have personally seen her history marks and her handmade notes which are extremely neat , fact based, great storytelling and clever. Students will get great benefits from her easy way of teaching which allows the students to understand the topics rather than memorizing just for marks.
