About Cheri-Lee
I am Cheri-Lee De Wet. I come from South Africa. I was an intermediate phase teacher until COVID came along and things changed. My passion for teaching will always be there and I want to share this amazing new journey with you! I would love to help you on your reading journey! There's a world of adventure out there! They're fun, interactive and educational! People need to learn in an environment where mistakes can be made without feeling embarrassed about them. To encourage my students to try again and to view those mistakes as another chance to get it right and retain more information about it than they did before.
I believe getting to know them and about their lives is a very important part of it, too.
So I always try find out more about them, their families, favourite foods, hobbies, cultures, likes, dislikes etc.
We don't have to be perfect, we just have to try!
