About Kennedy
As a postgraduate student of Creative Writing at The University of Oxford, I hope to expand upon my skillset and offer my services as a private tutor in English Literature, Academic Writing, and Creative Writing. Whether the student is a beginner in these subjects or working in an advanced course, I am prepared to aid them according to their individual needs. Being that I am a part-time student, my schedule is flexible, and I am willing to work in accordance with the UK and US time zones.
In addition to my studies in Creative Writing, I earned a high mark when obtaining my Bachelor's in English Literature with a focus on Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. In my pursuit of this degree, I became an expert in essay writing, academic research, literary analysis, and critical thinking. I’m excited to dive into the instructional side of literature and writing and look forward to the opportunities to come!

I believe that writerly growth is obtained by the rebirth of imagination. Again and again, our creative selves take a new shape, molded by new ways of thinking. In my lessons, no matter the subject, my objective is to encourage students to be in touch with their creative selves, presenting them with the space to believe in their intellectual abilities. By fully diving into the literary scene in this way, they will develop the confidence to think critically and contribute new approaches to analysis.
