About Rachel
I'm a Master of Architecture graduate from the University of Newcastle with over 6 years of experience in the built environment. I've led projects worth up to USD 1 million and I'm familiar with AutoCAD, Sketchup and Revit.
But more importantly, I hope to see a future where architects are seen (especially by themselves) less as building designers but more as holistic problem solvers. Problem solvers who have the heavy and important responsibility of considering and responding to an intertwined ecosystem which ensures social, environmental, spatial and governance are empathised with throughout the journey of a project.
I bring this methodology and holistic thinking wherever I go, and I hope I'll have the opportunity to teach and equip more people with this.

Private and external tutoring, to me, is the start towards ensuring you, as students, consider so much more than what is given to you on the surface of your courses in school. It is how you get the upper hand and obtain alternative perspectives towards the same topics / problems for your course work.
In my classes, we would work on ideas and your concerns together as a team to ensure the work that develops at the end would be unique, holistic, well thought out and full of your heart and convictions. Let's wow your lecturers and course mates together!
Education is the most integral part in changing and improving the world. If we can't better educate the next generation and use that to slowly change unhealthy systems and mindsets set by previous generations, who's to say our world would be a better place tomorrow?
