About Kerry-Ann
Hi! My name is Kerry-Ann, and I’m a dedicated paraprofessional with hands-on experience supporting elementary students in both academic and behavioral development. I work closely with children who need extra patience, structure, and encouragement, and I truly enjoy helping them grow.
I support students with reading, writing, math, and homework, and I understand that every child learns differently. My approach is calm, supportive, and focused on breaking things down in a way that makes learning feel less overwhelming and more achievable.
I’m passionate about helping students not only improve academically, but also build confidence in themselves. Seeing a child go from frustrated to proud of their work is what I love most about what I do.

My lessons are patient, structured, and designed to meet each child where they are. I start with a quick check-in and review to build comfort and confidence, then focus on one skill at a time—breaking things down in a simple, easy-to-understand way.
I guide students step-by-step, practice together, and then give them a chance to try on their own so the learning really sticks. I also make sure to keep things encouraging and low-pressure, especially for students who may feel overwhelmed or behind.
My goal is to help students not only improve academically, but also feel more confident and capable in school.
