About Abigail
As a science enthusiast with a humanities-oriented brain, I struggled to wrap my head around the theoretical concepts in chemistry. By changing my perspective and creating analogies and visual tools I was able to not only succeed, but excel. I have two years experience leading group tutoring sessions for General Chemistry I and II as well as private tutoring experience.

Not everyone is good at using scientific terminology when learning chemistry, and that's okay! I teach using analogies, interpretive drawings, and a lot of humor to try to appeal to creative minds. Together we will work on problem-solving skills and ways to break down complex tasks to make them feel more like puzzles than problems. Everyone learns differently and I tailor my methods to help you learn best. I specialize in high school chemistry as well as general chemistry at the college level.
