I take a student-centred approach, adapting each session to the learner’s needs and learning style. I focus on building understanding through clear explanations, discussion, and practical examples. I encourage questions and aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable and confident. Lessons typically run for 60 minutes, but I’m flexible depending on the student’s focus and goals. As a History student, I have strong academic experience in essay writing, analysis, and source evaluation, which I bring into my teaching. I also have tutoring experience helping peers and younger students with English and History. My lessons are ideal for secondary school and GCSE-level students, but I’m happy to work with learners of different ages or skill levels who want to improve their understanding or confidence in these subjects.
