About Minna
Minna began her violin studies at 4. She started playing chamber music at 9 at the Crowden Music Center and throughout the years has regularly attended their summer programs. Since 2017 until graduating in 2025 as a member of the Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra, she has learned and performed with PACO’s amazing students and wonderful faculty. Minna has enjoyed her experiences as a student in the Pre-College Division of the SFCM. She has been among the winners of local and international competitions. Minna has participated and performed in numerous workshops, summer festivals and programs. She has gained insight and inspiration in masterclasses in the US and abroad. In addition to performing in Palo Alto and Berkeley, she has performed in New York City, Italy, Bulgaria, and Estonia. Minna loves teaching violin and has been teaching and coaching K-12 students since the COVID-19 pandemic years both online and in person.

Tangible and lasting improvements from one lesson to the next bring excitement and satisfaction learning scales, etudes, selections from Suzuki and the Royal Academy of Music programs, building a repertoire. Practicing is a skill, one that improves with playing! Playing violin, you join a tradition 400+ year old and counting. Every time you play, you continue that tradition and it makes you feel being part of the bigger story. Minna enjoys teaching and coaching, and cares for every student!
