About Joshua
I am currently studying for a postgraduate MSt in Musicology at Oxford University, having already completed my undergraduate degree there (graduating with a First class BA in Music). I have three years of experience tutoring music theory, composition, analysis, and history, with multiple students scoring 8+ in GCSE exams. I also have a Grade 8 distinction in the piano with ABRSM and have performed with chamber groups as part of my practical musical education.

My lessons are structured to give each student the most personalised session I can. Each lesson will consist of a number of challenging and engaging exercises tailored to the student's goals, whether they relate to a GCSE or A level exam rubric, or the development of extra-curricular interests. In the case of Oxbridge applicants, I can conduct both preparation sessions and mock interviews using my first-hand knowledge of the process, as well as offering guidance on personal statements.
