About Alex
Kia ora! I'm a 26-year-old here from the UK travelling around New Zealand on a working holiday visa. I have over 2 years experience in private tutoring in the UK, as well as a degree from Oxford University in English Literature. I myself accessed support from a tutor while at school, so I understand first-hand the difference it can make. I offer 1 hour tutoring sessions for secondary school students seeking support with English, History or Latin. After an initial "getting-to-know-you" conversation, I create a tailored lesson plan according to your interests, goals and style of learning. I aim to make our sessions fun and engaging, as well as working towards your academic goals. I also offer regular written feedback for parents.
