About Penry
I am a recent graduate of Balliol College Oxford, with a first class degree in English Language and Literature which included two years of French at undergraduate level; I also have a high level of proficiency in classical languages. A successful entrance candidate and academic scholarship holder at a leading English public school, I have helped the children of friends and family through 11+, scholarship and Oxbridge entrance tests, with first-hand knowledge of what it takes to succeed!

As a natural audodidact, my teaching style looks to foster a capacity for self-education and develop personalised learning methods, at the same time as providing instruction and feedback according to exam specifications. Drawing on my own wide interests in modern and classical literature, I aim to help students to produce individual reading lists around their subjects that will make them stand out in any examination!
