About Oliver

I currently conduct the Hertford College Orchestra at Oxford University so have experience in leadership and making sure that the rehearsal/learning process is efficient, productive and fun. I am also a member of National Youth Theatre and took a Young Facilitators training course with them so I am able to create a healthy, secure, and welcoming environment. I frequently take part in theatre, both plays and musicals (my favourite is Guys and Dolls). I love reading (especially Murakami) and painting. I skateboard and play tennis as well as release my own music. I love all things creative and have always found science and maths interesting and exciting. My A-Level grades were: Maths A*, Music A, Physics A

About the lesson

My lessons are primarily for students about to take their GCSEs but I am available for younger ages as well! I focus on making learning enjoyable and productive, making sure you get the most out of our sessions and feel like the things you want to cover are covered. Our lessons will be led by the student in terms of the topics they want to cover and boost their confidence in. The average lesson will be one hour and will be collaborative and constructive. We will work on past paper questions as well as going through content covered in class that you feel unsure about. I will ensure a welcoming and encouraging environment that will get the most out of your academic ability. I can also provide tips and tricks on how to revise efficiently and help to find a method that works best for you!
