About Rosie
Hi there!
I'm Rosie, I did PPE BA and Sociology MSc at Oxford, and I've been tutoring various subjects since I did my own GCSEs in 2011. I enjoy working one-on-one with curious and engaged students to achieve your best results and develop your holistic understanding of the world!
I believe that learning is best when it is interconnected; using real-world examples in ESL, making connections between your maths classes and your real life, or understanding how statistics applies to all areas of the world.
I've also written several theses at Oxford and my career is in software engineering, so I can help with lots of different things!

My teaching methodology is specific to each student; I believe in creative problem solving, spaced memory techniques, and developing the student where they are.
Lessons are usually 45 minutes with an option to increase to 1 hour.
I have been tutoring GCSE Mathematics since 2015, ESL since 2009. My academic background is in statistics and social research. Lessons are mostly geared toward GCSE and A Level, although I am happy to work with university students at various stages.
I have written two theses at Oxford University so I also help with Thinking Skills Assessment and advise on writing, review documents, and offer thesis critique.
