About Jenalla

The importance of language learning is something I hope to help students of all ages embrace as they begin on their linguistic journeys! It opens us up to many enriching opportunities whilst also stimulating the brain.

I am an A-Level student, currently holding a deferred offer to Oxford University, with experience tutoring in both French and piano - especially with children and teens. I aim to encourage students of the French language to take the necessary steps to reach their communicative and literacy goals, from beginner to GCSE level.
I am passionate about language-learning and hope to encourage this attitude in anyone hoping to progress in their studies!

- I am currently predicted A*A*A in my A-Levels of French, Music and History plus an offer from Christ Church college.
- I hold a Grade 8 qualification in piano.
- I am able to teach children from the ages of 8+ and anyone up to an intermediate/GCSE level.

In my spare time, I love to hike, do yoga and experiment with recipes from around the world!

About the lesson

A friendly A-Level student hoping to inspire you with the myriad benefits of language learning via webcam lessons.

Your introduction to French will be intriguing, exciting and most of all, fun! Despite taking a rigorous approach in covering the essential bases, such as listening, grammar, writing and speaking, I am eager to provide students of all ages with a positive and enriching experience that will encourage a passion for learning and discovery beyond the sessions.

I find that when a subject is made interesting, students are more likely to dedicate time towards consolidating existing knowledge and spend extra time learning new information!

- Lessons range from 30 minutes to 1 hour to suit the needs of the student.
- I teach a wide range of linguistic skills to those from beginner to intermediate levels, including children - usually 8+.
- Practice questions and quizzes are utilised to emphasise the importance of applying language skills beyond memorising answers.
- Tailored worksheets and activities, plus weekly homework appropriate for the capacity and schedule of the student.
- Students can expect a thorough and friendly approach to language learning and to gain confidence in the primary disciplines.
- I am studying French at A level, with A* predicted grades and am passionate about languages!

Due to my studies taking priority and for practicality reasons, I prefer to hold lessons online.
