About Nancy
I'm Nancy, an Oxford English Literature offer holder with an interest in the humanities. Having finished my A-levels with a predicted A*A*A*, I have valuable experience with finding effective revision techniques and understanding how to excel academically. I am eager to teach so that students can have access to what I have learnt throughout my academic career; I aim to give confidence and encourage enthusiasm in students.

1 hour sessions are aimed at understanding students' strengths and weaknesses, and using this information to build confidence. A range of research-backed revision techniques, including spaced repetition testing and practice questions, will be employed throughout. Having tutored mixed-ability students at GCSE level, my work focuses on encouraging an enthusiasm for literature, as well as an ability to excel in examinations. With my experience of the Oxford interview process, I am also able to assist with interview preparation and university applications.

Studied A-Level English Literature with her. Nancy has an exceptional ability to come up with nuance ideas and communicate them well to others. Her essays were often utilised as model answers for her peers which were very helpful. I believe she will be a great tutor.
