About Tom

I am a committed, flexible and experienced tutor looking to help you hit your UCAT goals. I teach because I believe that every student has the potential to smash their exams, and I want to help them realise that.
I enjoy working with a variety of starting levels and am always inspired by the progress students make with commitment and hard work. My goal is to help turn that effort into results and in the last year, I have seen students acheive scores over 2500 (new scoring), as well as multiple Oxbridge offers.

About the lesson

The UCAT is a hurdle which prospective medical students must cross to make an application to almost all medical schools in the UK. The question style, interface and time pressure make it unlike any test you have sat before.

My approach is centred around helping students adjust from an A-level exam mindset to the one needed to play the game that is the UCAT and win.

I adapt my teaching based on individual needs but a typical lesson will include detailed section breakdowns, example questions and reviewing mistakes made in practice to unlock your potential and optimise your UCAT strategy.
