About Jonny

Hi! I'm Jonny and I'm currently studying clinical medicine and the University of Oxford. I graduated in July 2018 with a First Class Honours in preclinical medicine and am currently based at the John Radcliffe Hospital studying for the clinical part of the course.

I've had many years experience in tutoring for the admissions process for medicine and Oxford, covering UKCAT and BMAT preparation, interview practice, personal statement guidance and all other aspects of the (daunting and lengthy!) process of applying to study medicine, be that at Oxbridge or elsewhere. Further to this, I also tutor certain Science subjects such as Chemistry, Biology and Maths, preferably at GCSE level. Having achieved A* grades at these in both GCSE and A-levels, and had experience of tutoring these, I can help you to progress in these areas where you are struggling most.

Perfect! Medical School Application
Jonny tutored my son for his BMAT, refined his personal statement, and also improved his interview skills in preparation for his medical school application. During this past year, they had weekly sessions for the various aspects of BMAT questions. We found Johnny very patient and analytical. He was able to fine tune his teaching based on his student's strength and ability. This aspect is best highlighted in addressing his weaknesses, particularly in improving his interview skills. I recommend Jonny to students with a genuine interest in medicine and plan to apply to medical schools.
