About Kaavya

Teaching is something I really enjoy, and find it really rewarding to be able to help students unlock their full potential. My experience with tutoring so far includes teaching GCSE level Biology and Chemistry, and supporting students with their UCAT prep. I received offers to study medicine at Oxford, UCL, Sheffield and Leeds, and at Warwick for Neuroscience, and I’m currently a first year medical student at Oxford. My recent and firsthand experience of the medicine application process, including UCAT, personal statement and Interviews (both panel and MMI) allow me to help students as effectively as possible, and improve their chances at getting a great UCAT score and succeeding at hopefully achieving a place at their choice of university.

About the lesson

For both UCAT prep and Interview prep, I felt from my own experience that having an hour-long lesson to cover the targeted content and any doubts worked really well, without feeling too tedious and allowed me to continue with some work on my own following the lesson, to consolidate everything I had covered. For UCAT prep, I will use practice questions and provide you with tips to boost your confidence with tricky sections. For interview prep, I will do mock interviews in both panel and MMI styles, depending on your choices for uni applications. I will also cover how to structure your answers well in order to convey your answers in an effective and confident way.

I am only able to do online lessons as of now.
