About Chris
I am currently taking a Master's Degree in Mathematics at Oxford University, having achieved a high 2.1 in my Bachelor's here. I have been tutoring maths for 6 years years, including KS3, GCSE, A Level and university entrance exam level.
I achieved 12 A*s at GCSE including maths and further maths, and at A Level I achieved 3 A*s, in Maths, Further Maths and Physics, and an A in Spanish AS Level.

I believe almost all topics in maths have some intuition behind them - my approach to teaching is to help students find a way to see problems in a way that makes the solutions intuitive to them.
For A Level Maths & Further Maths, I work from the exam board's specification which ensures that my students know exactly what they need to for their exam. Of course, when requested I explore further topics that are interesting and useful.
For MAT/STEP preparation I teach general principles which are helpful to understand when approaching these papers. I also work through past papers with my students, as it's very important to be familiar with these.
