About Dylan
I am an Oxford Law graduate and currently work as Head of Legal at a specialist criminal defence firm, where I have gained extensive experience in the practical application of law. I have always enjoyed helping others understand difficult legal concepts and develop their confidence in tackling challenging problems. I want to bring that experience into tutoring, helping students not only improve their knowledge but also develop the analytical and critical-thinking skills needed to succeed in their exams and beyond. I particularly enjoy breaking down complex topics into clear, manageable ideas and finding different ways to explain concepts until they genuinely make sense.

I take a friendly, approachable and practical approach to tutoring, adapting each lesson to the individual student’s needs and goals. Dylan tutored my daughter throughout her A-Level Law exams, and I’d definitely recommend him. It was clear from the start that he was very knowledgeable, but what really stood out was how well he could explain things in a way that actually made sense and was easy to understand.
It was also really useful for my daughter to hear Dylan’s perspective on how the law works in practice, alongside the academic side of studying Law. He was patient, approachable and always happy to explain things again if she wasn’t quite getting it.
