About Henrietta (Hattie)
I am a highly experienced tutor with over 15 years’ experience teaching students from age 16 through to adult learners, specialising in A level and undergraduate level work.
I recognise that at many universities students suffer from a lack of contact hours and 1:1 support, which can become especially pronounced around the writing of longer research projects such as dissertations and extended essays. I am here to support you in developing and growing your skillset and confidence as an academic writer, either through long-term coaching or providing a road-map to help you work through coursework challenges.
Don't hesitate to ask me anything at all to help you decide whether you'd like to work with me. I will respond within 24 hours and offer a free introductory call so we can discuss how I might be able to help you.

I have 15 years of experience working with students as a tutor and mentor through the essay and dissertation research, writing and editing process.
My approach is tailored to your individual needs, taking into account any academic and personal challenges you may be facing. After an initial assessment session, I will provide a structured roadmap that we will use together to ensure you are well equipped to meet your goals within the required timeline. I encourage students to constantly challenge assumptions they may have about themselves and to develop and hone skills as a researcher and critical and creative thinker, which will transfer into numerous other domains in their lives.
