About Hien
I recently graduated with a BA in Philosophy and will begin a master's degree program in Philosophy and Theology at Oxford University this October. I have experience individually tutoring a student for a course in Symbolic Logic. I also have a significant amount of informal experience, consisting of leading study sessions for fellow students in multiple courses in Philosophy, including Ancient Philosophy, Medieval Philosophy, Metaphysics, and Free Will.

My teaching methodology relies much on the Socratic method, in which I, the teacher, guide the student in understanding and grasping difficult concepts by asking leading questions, rather than by simply telling the student the answers. In addition to this method, I try to make philosophy interesting and fun for the student!
