About Valentina
I am an enthusiastic and friendly English teacher with years of experience teaching in a top grammar school. I received my PGCE English from the University of Oxford, my MA from King's College London and my BA from the University of Warwick. I love to inspire my students with a love of English and support them with their unique learning journey! I will always focus on what works for the student and am easily able to adapt my teaching methods due to the number of resources I have built up during my professional experience. My lessons are for any student in KS3 and above and are always student-centred; after discussion of the student's needs, I develop a suitable learning plan that will help the student achieve their personal goals. Lessons will usuallye at least one hour long and will involve the student working through one or more tasks with my support, and reviewing the success of those tasks with clear reference to relevant exam criteria.
