About Colette
I studied Maths at Oxford University, followed by an MSc in Mathematical Medicine and Biology at Nottingham University.
I have tutored GCSE Maths, Science, Additional Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics ans English and AS/A Level Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Biology over the past 8 years.
I helped students achieve on average 2 grades higher than their predicted grade.

I am careful to understand the needs of individual students; taking time to find out about how they prefer to work and establishing learning techniques that help them. I am keen that students engage with the curriculum in a way that enables them to understand the wider context/relevance of it. Each lesson I will set an aim, discuss the topic, allow the student to do some exploratory learning, reinforce the learning with task(s) and summarise the learning.
