About Noah
I graduated this year from St Edmund Hall, Oxford with a BA (Hons) in English Language and Literature and am shortly to undertake an MA in Newspaper Journalism at City University, London. I have plenty of experience in teaching, having helped a young Brazilian boy improve his fluency in spoken and written English and taught Jewish Studies to children at my synagogue.

Having studied English Literature at a sophisticated level in tutorials and seminars I am very equipped to help students of all ages to flourish in the subject, whatever level they may be at.
My approach is based on improving the student's ability to close-read a text, so that over time they become independently able to pick up on verbal and grammatical cues they would otherwise miss.
Considering the ways in which texts are adapted for stage and screen, as well as the relevance of the author's background, are equally important to examiners at GCSE and A-Level, so lessons for those exams would naturally include teaching in those areas.
With Oxbridge admissions I can offer guidance on personal statements, interview practice, training for dealing with unseen poetry and prose, as well as preparation for the ELAT.
