About Anisia
I am a Biochemistry Student at the University of Oxford, and have achieved a Distinction in my first-year exams. For my A-levels, I achieved 5A* in Mathematics [96%], Chemistry [94%], Biology, Russian, and EPQ [100%]. I have also achieved 11 A* in my GCSEs. I would be more than happy to help anyone preparing for GCSEs, A-Levels, SATs, KS2/KS3, and Oxbridge Admissions. My goal is to provide a learning environment that builds students' confidence and allows them to achieve their dream grades.

Getting top grades in GCSEs and A-Levels relies on excellent exam technique as well as knowing the content. My lessons are tailored to master both of these aspects.
Before each session, I will put together a detailed lesson plan that targets weak areas, allowing for the course to be tackled and mastered bit-by-bit.
During the lesson, I will teach the content by breaking it down simply to ensure that the student understands everything. My tutoring style utilises active recall methods such as quizzes during the lesson to pinpoint areas of weakness.
After each lesson, I will set a short homework containing a bespoke assortment of exam questions that consolidates understanding. The homework will also include questions on topics from previous lessons to allow for spaced repetition. I will be reachable via messages if there are any questions about the content between lessons. In the next session, we will spend some time going over the homework and filling in any gaps in understanding.
My tutoring methods are based on proven psychological methods that improve long-term memory retention. It is my belief that with enough practice and preparation any student is capable of top grades.
