My teaching methodology is completely personalised to the student / students that i’m teaching. I focus in on any gaps in knowledge and understanding and help to explain concepts and ensure a confidence in the content that allows for application to other problems and hopefully a mastery in the subject.

Joel is an amazing biology tutor! They really helped me improve my biology grades. They explained everything in a way I could understand clearly, breaking it down into smaller parts making sure I understood everything before moving on. My confidence has gone up so much since starting with Joel that I engage more in lessons and I’m considering doing biology at Uni!
Joel is so patient and flexible, with a real passion for maths!
