About Leanne
I am a current secondary school teacher still working in the classroom and on the sports field with 22 years experience. I am a head of department and have the eesponsibility to quality assure all vocational subjects in my current role. My professional expertise is in physical education, child development and health and social care. Covering a range of exam boards; CACHE/NCFE, BTEC and OCR.
I have the ability to stretch and challenge students, no matter where their starting point is and am very good at adapting lessons to suit each child's individual needs.

Whilst students are focusing on core subjects they can still achieve high grades in other subjects to assist the number of pass grades required for further education. Although I am not able to write student essays, I can focus on independent learning and provide the writing skills to boost confidence in producing high quality assignments. Support is given in line with useful tips and strategies to tackle assignments with ease and develop a comprehensive response in line with exam board marking criteria. I have a bank of revision techniques proven to be successful.
All lessons are fun and rewarding and tailored according to the individual needs. The first session is about finding out how the student learns best and with my expertise planning lessons to empower students in getting results.
