About Alexandra
I have a BA Hons degree in Early Childhood Studies, where I explored different educational approaches, including Steiner, Froebel (a key figure in modern education), Montessori, and Reggio Emilia. I believe each approach benefits children in unique ways. I have extensive experience helping children prepare for 7+, 8+, 11+, SATs (KS1 and KS2), and ISEB Common Entrance exams, supporting them in gaining places at schools such as The Royal Grammar School, Queen’s College, and St Paul’s Prep School. I also specialise in interview preparation for 11+ school entrance. My focus is on the core subjects for children aged 3–11 (early years and primary level). I have a particular interest in supporting children with dyslexia and autism, using tailored methods to build their confidence, help them overcome challenges, and show them they can achieve anything they set their minds to. In addition, I hold a TEFL certificate and am planning to take an additional course in teaching young learners.

I provide tuition for children preparing for 7+, 8+, 11+, and 13+ exams, as well as ISEB Common Entrance, KS1 and KS2 SATs, KS3, and GCSE English. I focus on helping students improve in core subjects, using a mix of past papers, targeted practice, educational games, and phonics resources to build both skills and confidence.
