About Rusi

I’m an experienced dance teacher and performer dedicated to helping students develop confidence, rhythm, and authentic expression through movement. With over twenty years of practice in teaching, performing, and improvisation, I combine solid technique with creative exploration. My classes provide a supportive and motivating space where every student, regardless of age or background, can discover their own style, refine their skills, and connect deeper with the music and themselves.

About the lesson

We can delve deeply into techniques, styles, or different approaches to achieve confidence and consistency in performance, regardless of the student’s skill level. I provide clear explanations, meaning, and methodology for every topic we cover during the class.
Usually, we learn along two lines: technical and artistic. Both are equally important.
The technical part includes basic, intermediate, and advanced moves, combinations, and choreographed pieces.
The artistic part focuses on expression, creativity, understanding the process, and improvisational approaches.
In addition, I have a strong background in working with unusual rhythm patterns such as 7/8, 11/8, and 15/16, allowing every student to explore a more provocative way to develop their sense and understanding of the beat.
I like to converse and connect with my students to understand their needs, views, and perspectives, so I can fill any gaps and be as helpful as possible.
