About Marcos
I am a math student who is passionate about teaching. I studied Mechanical Engineering in the past (at UFRJ), and now I am about to enroll in the math course because I discovered what I really love to do: teach math. I worked as a monitor at the Naval College, a training school for navy officers located in Angra dos Reis, for over a year, and I love teaching math and helping students understand the most difficult concepts and ideas behind the subject. I believe in a drill-based approach to learning: through questions and answers, we will identify and solve your difficulties. This is my method. In addition, our goal in the first class is to get to know each other, and thus build a friendly relationship between tutor and student, a relationship in which I will guide you through this beautiful subject that is math. Resources: In all classes, I will use virtual resources, such as Microsoft whiteboard, to write and draw on the screen as if it were a blackboard. I will also provide books and class notes on the topics we study.
