About KATELYN
I received my bachelor of science honors in chemistry, with a minor in French, from Berry College in 2018. I specialize in chemistry, math, and French. I have tutored on and off since I was in highschool. I tutored through a volunteer program at Berry College for several years, teaching first grade through high school students subjects like natural sciences, algebra, and French. I was also a graduate teaching assistant at the university of Tennessee for a year, where I ran labs and taught discussion sections for introductory chemistry.

My philosophy is to demystify the 'scary' subjects. If you break down the confusing concepts, they actually start to make a lot of sense. You might actually see how simple chemistry concepts can explain little things that happen around you everyday, like why ice floats. I believe that the more of the world around you you understand, the more power you have to succeed in it.
