I am a Korean and Mandarin teacher who has been teaching both Korean and Mandarin in Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, and Canada for the last 6 years. I have my master’s degree in "Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages".

The Chinese language is the oldest written language in the world with at least six thousand years of history and has several hundred different variations. The predominant language is Standard Chinese based on central Mandarin. During our lessons, we will learn the pinyin, also known as the Han language, that is spoken by 92% of the population. Our lessons will vary based on your level and needs. We could start from the beginning and learn the basics in Pinyin and pronunciations or continue where you left off with your previous teachers/lessons. I can also tailor the lessons to meet your specific goals or needs, ex: learn from watching C-drama (Chinese drama), by listening to songs or business etiquettes to name a few. During our lessons, I put an emphasis on speaking where I will correct your grammar, pronunciation and phonetics when needed. I can incorporate Chinese culture, history, traditions and examples of day-to-day life. After each lesson, you will receive your learning materials, homework and everything we did during our lesson. Start your journey by learning one of the history, culture and traditions of one of the oldest written languages in the world with a fun, friendly and passionate teacher.
