About Ja'Mell
I am a sophomore at Harris-Stowe State University. I was able to achieve a full-ride scholarship by receiving all A's and a GPA of 4.2 for a total of four years. I love learning about history and new things that no one knew before. I also love traveling and going to different, and unique places.

What sets me apart is that I am a student. I understand the challenges of school and the effort required to grasp the curriculum. Therefore, when I tutor, I begin where the students are and build from there. I allow them to take the lead and concentrate on their strengths to overcome their weaknesses, as that's how we empower them. In tutoring, I assist the student in finding solutions and recognizing potential within themselves that they hadn't noticed before, which often leaves them amazed by their achievements. I have applied this method with K-8 students as well as high school students, and the results remain effective.
