About Samantha
The way that I communicate with my families is by including time for communication in my session. Whether it means scheduling my sessions for an extra 5-10 minutes or including that time within the session, communication and progress monitoring reporting is essential for the tutor/family relationship. I think communication is equally as important as instruction as it is a true partnership. If this timing does not work for parents, I am always available via text, email or a phone call. I’ve also set up communication logs for my clients and parents as well.

I have a special education background, coupled with elementary education. I am a reading specialist and I’m Orton Gillingham dyslexia teacher. I like to make reading fun and I love working with all children. I enjoy brain breaks and engaging with kids to embrace a love of learning.
