About Malin
Growing up in Stockholm, Sweden, I started DJ-ing professionally after moving to London where I lived for 10 years. I soon became a touring Hed Kandi/Ministry of Sound DJ and played all over the world from Japan to Kenya and Punta del Este, apart from London night clubs.
Other highlights include 4 years DJ residency at Scorpios Mykonos and numerous gigs at festivals such as Burning man and Warung Tour in Brazil. You can find me on Spotify, YouTube, Soundcloud etc under my name Malin Linnéa or my web site (concealed information)

I’ll teach you:
- where to find and download your music (buying or for free)
- minimum sound quality of files accepted to play out
- analysing and sorting your music in Rekordbox
- how to build playlists for different kinds of sets: warm up, main and closing sets
- creating playlists/sets for personal trainers, yoga teachers, breathwork teachers, your store, your best friend’s wedding etc. etc
- mixing in key, phrasing and other mixing techniques
- how to record a live set to post on Soundcloud/YouTube to share with your friends
- how to get DJ gigs
- how to create a press pack/other marketing material
The first free ‘class' is a 30 min call to see what level you’re at and what you need in preparation to start mixing. I don’t offer free actual classes
