My teaching approach centers on building healthy, sustainable technique while nurturing each singer’s individual artistic voice. I emphasize breath efficiency, resonance alignment, diction in multiple languages, and stylistic awareness—particularly in opera and Baroque repertoire. Lessons integrate technical exercises, repertoire work, and interpretive coaching, always connecting physical sensation to expressive intention.
A typical lesson begins with body awareness and breath work, followed by targeted vocalises tailored to the student’s current technical goals. We then apply those concepts directly to repertoire, exploring phrasing, text, ornamentation, and dramatic context.
What sets me apart is my combined focus on technical clarity, historical performance practice, and dramatic truth.
