About Rachel
Hello!
I am a teacher from Ontario, Canada with 5+ years of experience in various fields of education; working in childcare settings (ages 6 months- toddler) and in classrooms with school age grades (K-12).
I would describe myself as a dedicated, compassionate, flexible and enthusiastic educator. I am passionate about instilling young children with the tools to develop their self-confidence and keep a positive mindset, especially in learning. My goals as an educator are to support students learning through creating fun and engaging environments.

Lessons are planned in accordance with Ministry Curriculum and tailored to address and support the unique needs of each learner. Following a Universal Design of Learning (UDL) framework, lesson plans address a specific learning goal and provide learners with a number of opportunities to showcase and challenge their understandings.
- Review previous years concepts to assess understandings and gaps in knowledge to help strengthen specific skills and confidence
- Get ahead for the upcoming school year by reviewing concepts and new material to reduce stress/anxiety throughout the year
