A typical lesson with me first establishes what the goals of the lesson are and evolves based on student feedback.
In my profession I am often working with LOCALLY DEVELOPED/WORKPLACE level classes. In these courses I focus on practical skills and relating to the interests of the student.
Some examples of recent English courses I have taught include:
Grade 10 Academic - Reading through Romeo and Juliet, writing essays, creating arguments, etc.
Grade 10 Locally Developed - Preparing for the G1 driving test, teaching students practical skills (changing tires on a car) and having them explain it, etc.
