About Marissa
Hi! I'm Marissa, an Ontario elementary principal, wife, and proud mom to a little one at home. My passion for education has taken me around the world, including studies at the University of Windsor and experiences in Australia that broadened my perspective on teaching and learning.
I believe learning should be engaging, positive, and fun. I bring energy, enthusiasm, and a nurturing approach to every session, helping students build confidence while developing their skills. As an experienced educator and school leader, I understand that every child learns differently, and I tailor lessons to meet each student's unique needs and strengths.
Whether we're working on French language development, literacy, or academic confidence, my goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel happy, motivated, and excited to learn. I love celebrating growth, encouraging curiosity, and helping students discover their potential while making learning an enjoyable experience.

My French lessons are happy, energetic, and designed to help students feel confident and excited about learning. I create a positive, supportive environment where students are encouraged to take risks, ask questions, and celebrate their progress. Through interactive activities, games, conversations, and engaging learning experiences, students develop their speaking, reading, and writing skills while building a genuine love for the French language. My goal is to make every lesson enjoyable, motivating, and personalized so that students leave feeling successful, confident, and eager for the next session.
