About Dheekshitha
Music has been something that I have been passionate about for many years. I believe that Carnatic music is not just a form of art but also a part of my culture and traditions. As a south Indian, I want to make sure that this amazing part of my culture is carried forward to the next generations and never gets lost through the course of time. I have completed a post graduate diploma in Carnatic vocal with Madras University. I hope that I can use my experience to create more musicians like me in the future!

Lessons are one to one, which means lots of personal support and allows you to learn at your own pace! I provide resources which you can use to listen and practice the pieces after the lesson. These lessons are aimed towards anyone who is new to Carnatic music. You can choose to take exams or also learn for fun! I am also fluent in Tamil so feel free to communicate in Tamil during lessons.
